Strawberry Cake Recipe Ingredients :
  • 1 lg. Angel Food cake
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 sm. can evaporated milk
  • 2 packs strawberries
  • 1 lg. cool whip
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 jar strawberry glaze
Strawberry Cake Recipe Instructions
Break up Angel food cake into small pieces and put in bottom of large bowl. Mix cool whip, sour cream, powdered sugar, and milk. Spread over cake. Mix strawberries and glaze and spread over the top. Punch holes with a spoon in several places to allow the strawberry mixture to seep through.The strawberry cake recipe punch bowl is ready..Enjoy it !

Strawberry Cake Recipe Ingredients :
  • 1 (15 oz.) pkg. angel food cake mix
  • 1 1/3 c. (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 pkgs. Dream Whip, prepared to pkg. directions
  • 2 pts. fresh strawberries, washed & hulled or 2 boxes frozen berries, drained

Strawberry Cake Recipe Instructions
Prepare and bake angel food cake according to package directions in a 10"x4" tube pan. Invert cake on wire rack until cold, carefully remove from pan and place, top side down, on a serving plate.

In medium sized bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice and almond extract. Blend well. Whip cream until cream forms stiff peaks. Gently fold into sweetened condensed milk mixture. Chill 10 to 15 minutes.

Slice a 1" horizontal layer from top of cake. Carefully lift off and set aside. Measure an inch in from outer edge of cake and an inch from center hole and mark with toothpicks. With sharp knife, cut a pick mark down to within an inch from bottom.

Slowly cut around the entire cake. Start to cut an inch in from center hole and again cut down to within one inch from cake bottom and around entire cake. With fork carefully remove the center cut of cake.

This will leave a hollow shell of cake with inner and outer walls about one inch thick with a base of equal thickness. Tear or cut the removed portion of cake into 1" cubes. Pour 1 1/2 cups of the chilled condensed milk-whipped cream mixture into a medium size bowl.

Stir in cake pieces until well blended. Gently fold in one pint of whole strawberries. Lightly spoon this mixture into the cake shell. Place layer cut for top over filling and press on gently. Use remaining whipped cream mixture to swirl over entire cake.

Place in freezer and chill about two hours or until frosting is firm. At serving time, garnish top and sides of cake with remaining strawberries. The strawberry cake recipe is ready to serve...enjoy the strawberry cake ! Nice !

Strawberry Shortcut Cake I
A great strawberry cake recipe to try !
  • 1 (18.25-ounce) box strawberry cake mix
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cognac
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (3-ounce) package strawberry flavored gelatin (recommended: Jell-O)
  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish
  • Directions
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Follow cake directions as written on cake mix box.

Remove from oven and cool cake completely. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine strawberries, cognac and sugar. Let macerate 20 minutes. Invert and release cake onto a decorative platter.

Whip cream with confectioners' sugar and vanilla at medium-high speed until it reaches stiff peaks. Do not over whip.

Mix gelatin as directed on box. Refrigerate gelatin mix but do not let it harden, it should cool to a liquid consistency.
Using a straw, poke holes all over the cake. Pour gelatin into holes and spread over the top of the cake.

Spread layer of macerated strawberries on top of cake. Spread layer of whipped cream on top of the strawberries, making pretty swirls and ripples. Garnish with fresh strawberries. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. The strawberry cake recipe is ready to serve...nice one ! Enjoy it !

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons flour, whole-grain wheat
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries -- sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • whipped cream

Combine the first 9 ingredients and mix well. Batter will be thick. Spread batter in a greased 10-inch springform pan. Sprinkle sliced strawberries and 1/2 cup granulated sugar over top of batter. In a small bowl, with a fork, combine 1/3 cup sugar, flours, butter, and nutmeg. Mix until crumbly and sprinkle over strawberries. Bake at 425° 30-40 minutes.

  • 1 (18.25-ounce) box white cake mix
  • 1 (3-ounce) box strawberry-flavored instant gelatin
  • 1 (15-ounce) package frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed and pureed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Strawberry cream cheese frosting, recipe follows
  • Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed and pureed
  • 1/2 teaspoon strawberry extract
  • 7 cups confectioners' sugar
  • Freshly sliced strawberries, for garnish, optional
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 2 (9-inch) round cake pans.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix and gelatin. Add pureed strawberries, eggs, oil, and water; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Pour into prepared pans, and bake for 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans, and cool completely on wire racks.

For the frosting:
In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in 1/4 cup of the strawberry puree and the vanilla extract. (The rest of the puree is leftover but can be used in smoothies or on ice cream for a delicious treat.) Gradually add confectioners' sugar, beating until smooth.

Spread frosting in between layers and on top and sides of cake. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries, if desired. The strawberry cake recipe is ready to serve...enjoy the cake !
